According to the United States’ National Association of REALTORS® 2016 Profile of International Home Buying Activity, residential international sales in the U.S. equaled $102.6 billion (USD) for the year ending March 2016. Canadians alone accounted for $8.9 billion (USD). Foreign buyers purchased 214,885 residential properties – a three percent increase from the previous 12-month period.
